Flexseal International Packaging Corp. is pleased to announce two new products designed for the TIRE INDUSTRY and the RUBBER COMPOUNDING and CONVEYOR BELT INDUSTRIES.
The first product, known as Easy Peel Release film (EPR), is available in 3 versions for tire manufacturers, re-treaders, and conveyor belt manufacturers. EPR is a new generation of protective, easy peel release films used in the tire making process. Formulated with proprietary compounds with high mechanical properties, these products are designed NOT to interact with rubber-compounding ingredients. EPR1, EPR15, and EPR20 films replace the commonly used heavy gauge embossed film. EPR1 and EPR20 are used at extruding temperatures between 1400F and 2120F. The EPR15 is for sulphur and cobalt enriched rubber to prevent white powder from blooming to the surface as in the case of steel belted tires.

Film is 4 times thinner than embossed film, more footage per roll.
Fewer roll changes, minimized downtime, and increased productivity.
Speed of the tire building machine increases substantially.
Less storage space required. 100% recyclable.
Maintains clean and fresh rubber compound surface.

Films can be tailor made for other special applications.
Now being used by several tire manufacturers world wide.
Less expensive per application.
The second product is pre-made batch inclusion bags for accelerators and fine chemicals. Known as Tossin®, these compound-ingredient bags are constructed of different copolymers which make it fully compatible with rubber, and fully dispersible in high shear internal mixers. These bags allow you to preweigh and measure your ingredients before you compound the total mix. They are then "tossed into" the Banbury mixer. VICAT points are between 1130F and 1400F, and DSC melt points between 1690F and 1870F. Bags are easily melted and become part of the mix while remaining completely inert.
Standard sizes and colors available: 10" X 14", 18" X 20", or 18" X 31_"; colors: natural, orange, or blue. The maximum capacity is 33 lbs. Special sizes, thicknesses, and colors are available upon request.
